V-Mail dated July 9, 1945 to Mrs. Allison of Caldwell, Idaho from her son Jim of the 32nd Special Service Company of IX Engineer Command. Victory Mail was a way of microfilming US soldiers' mail to save on shipping costs during World War II.
Almost every day they find me, these bits of the past. Someone somewhere put pen to paper and created a one-of-a-kind memory. Saved here for posterity because every doodle deserves its day.
