V-Mail dated July 9, 1945 to Mrs. Allison of Caldwell, Idaho from her son Jim of the 32nd Special Service Company of IX Engineer Command. Victory Mail was a way of microfilming US soldiers' mail to save on shipping costs during World War II.

Note to Bonnie from Irene in a 1944 Broadway High School yearbook. Broadway High School was located on Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington. This is the second vintage yearbook inscription I've posted mentioning a career in waste management.
